The Company You Keep
I hope the old saying you’re known by the company you keep is true, because Zenhunting.com is mingling with some big time hunting celebrities and websites these days. Targettamers.com just released their compendium of the top 59 hunting websites, and Zenhunting – last in the alphabetical order – got in right before they closed the door, at #59. It’s quite an honor to be in a pack with Bone Collector, Buck Commander, Pat and Nicole with Driven Hunter, the DU website, Field & Stream, Jim Shockey, Melissa Bachman, Mike Hanback, Outdoor Life, Realtree, and a lot of other great sites and personalities, including my favorite hunter, Steve Rinella from Meat Eater.
Happy to be on the list.
Congrats!!! Awesome blog…Great stories.
Hey Zen Hunter, I have some great news for you…
You are not 59th in order of preference, but simply because I laid out the websites in alphabetical order. It was just too hard to order them any other way. If you were ‘A Zen Hunter’, you would have made number 1! 🙂
Have a great day!
Haha, totally missed that one! Good thing there weren’t only 58. For a fleeting second I did notice a few that had lower Alexa ratings than zenhunting but of course a lot that are higher, too.
Hello Zen hunter (sorry, don’t know your real name),
You are one of the top hunters whom I want to ask for a favor.
My name is Jerry Kidd, I am a blogger at Rangefinder 101.
I’m working on my new article titled «100 Advises to New Hunters by Top Hunting Experts».
In this article I want to collect tips from the best hunters around the country (and I think you are one of them).
I’m asking you just to answer two questions (this will take you only 2-3 minutes):
1. If there would be only ONE advice you can give to newbie hunters, what would it be?
2. If there would be only ONE mistake to avoid, you can warn newbie hunters about, what would it be?
Few sentences will be enough.
Also add the information you’d like to see next to your quote. It can be name, website/facebook/twitter link, photo, etc. I just want to give you more exposure in return for your help.
Please send your «Advice», «Mistake to avoid» and additional info at rangefinder101.com@gmail.com
I really appreciate your help!
Thank you,
Jerry
Wow cool! keep it up Zen hunting 🙂 you will be in the list for long!!!
